Kingsbridge Sings
An 80 person strong community choir led by the talented Ruairi Edwards
Who are we?
We are a choir that sing for fun, for the delight of hearing our own voices mingling with 80 other voices creating beautiful sounds in harmony together.
We sing all sorts of songs from pop and folk classics to world music, mantras and rounds.
We learn songs by ear, taught by our director Ruairi Edwards in our practice sessions. You don't need to read music though at times sheet music will be available. There will also be recordings of his teaching available to members on the website so you can practice at home. Ruairi is helping us all to find our voices and to develop individually as singers. He is also building us up as a choir, singing in vibrant four part harmony and developing a repertoire. At the same time, we are becoming a community, and people are building new friendships in the process as well as meeting old friends.

Our Musical Director
Former vocal coach and pianist on Gareth Malone’s BBC BAFTA award-winning The Choir: Sing While You Work (2012-2014), Ruairi Edwards has developed a reputation for bringing joy, passion and a natural love of singing to all of the people and organisations he works with.
His musical travels have taken him around the world to places like Dubai, Thailand, Uganda, Hong Kong and the USA, where he spent a week working with legendary jazz singer Bobby McFerrin.
Ruairi is the founder and leader of the regularly sold-out vocal retreat Finding Your Voice, which takes place twice yearly at Devon’s Dartington Hall Estate.
